Ruguetta
The morphology of Ruguetta arises from an abstraction of a folded carpet and a snake. This chaise longue is designed to invite the user to relax and to experience with a whole range of different seating and lounging options that it's shape allows.
Ruguetta is composed by two plywood frames enforced with wood canes and the seat/back is done of polyurethane foam upholstered with an artisan textile made in a cotton loom. There is also a fiberglass version for outdoors available.
Ruguetta was one of the finalists of DIMUEBLE 2008, a Mexico design contest.
